Today, Sam and his son Logan handle Hawk Angus’s day-to-day operations, and Sam’s dad, Jerry Hawk, manages all the program’s registrations, parentage, and paperwork. 

 

"With over twenty years of experience raising Angus cattle, we have seen many trends come and go… we have held firm to our philosophy of making great cows that work in our environment.  We strive to create great cows that work in our environment. We strive to create growth, performance, and phenotype, but we also incorporate convenience traits into the program, such as docility, foot and udder quality, fleshing ability, and fertility. We have sourced genetics from across the county to incorporate into the Hawk Angus program when they meet strict standards to help us improve.” ~Sam Hawk
